Spark yield through Zyfai lets you choose the available Spark Savings pools you trust and automate monitoring and rebalancing within your risk profile and settings. Direct Spark Savings is a good fit when you want to select a particular savings vault and keep that exposure yourself.
There is an important product distinction before comparing the two workflows. Spark has several savings products with different return sources. Zyfai gives you access to Spark yield opportunities through your personal Yield Account. Your Agent monitors pool risk and can automatically rebalance between the Spark pools you select to improve yield.
Spark yield: direct savings or Agent-managed allocation?
Decision | Direct Spark Savings | Through Zyfai |
|---|---|---|
Main task | Choose a savings vault and manage the holding manually | Choose your risk profile and allowed pools, then let the Yield Agent monitor risk and rebalance for you |
Yield accrual | Savings shares accrue value under the selected vault's mechanics | The underlying vault accrues yield in the same way |
Position ownership | Your wallet owns the savings shares | Your personal Yield Account, owned by your wallet, owns the resulting position |
Moving to another opportunity | You execute deposits, withdrawals and rebalances yourself | The rule-based Agent rebalances within your selected pools to improve yield or reduce risk when the new allocation passes your strategy's risk and execution checks |
Exposure preferences | Select the particular Spark product you want | Customize available protocols and pools within Zyfai's approved set |
You keep control of your personal Yield Account, choose a strategy that matches your risk profile, and let our Agent monitor pools and rebalance for you.
Understand which Spark product earns the return
Spark Savings uses tokenized vault shares. A deposit receives a savings token, and its redemption value increases as yield accrues. Holding the receipt already provides ongoing accrual.
For sUSDC, the yield comes from the Sky Savings Rate, set by Sky Governance. Spark's newer Savings V2 vaults use the Spark Liquidity Layer, with rates managed by Spark Governance. That layer allocates across underlying strategies and manages liquidity. Spark's product documentation explains both versions.
The stablecoin yield you earn depends on the vault you choose. Both sUSDC and spUSDC accept USDC and are backed by USDS, but their rates and withdrawal mechanics differ.
With Zyfai, you choose which available Spark pools and other opportunities your Yield Account can use. Our Agent compares their yields and risk signals and rebalances within that selection as conditions change.
Let your Yield Agent manage changes around the savings position
Spark's savings rates can change. With a direct holding, you can keep earning under the new conditions, but deciding whether to switch is still your responsibility.
Zyfai's DeFi yield automation combines onchain and offchain monitoring: savings rates and incentive changes, TVL, available withdrawal liquidity, backing-asset health and depegs, and protocol changes, alongside sentiment on socials and real-time onchain risk signals. The rebalancing rules check yield stability and whether the expected improvement justifies execution costs. When the new allocation passes your strategy's risk and execution checks, the Yield Agent can rebalance to a higher-yielding or safer pool you allow.
For a Spark user, the practical benefit is ongoing comparison without repeatedly opening separate apps to review every pool. If you include alternatives to Spark, like Aave or Morpho, the Yield Agent can move to one when its rules are satisfied. If you select only Spark pools, it stays within that selection or leaves funds idle.
Glider Monitor by Hexens adds real-time security checks across integrated pools and monitored dependencies. Alerts about attacks or vulnerabilities feed into the risk process, which can move capital to a safer approved opportunity or leave funds idle if none qualifies.
Keep a personal Yield Account and define the permitted scope
Your wallet owns your personal Yield Account (Safe7579). Your capital stays in that account and the DeFi positions it holds. When the Yield Agent deposits into a savings vault, the Yield Account owns the receipt and the vault holds the underlying assets. You retain ownership and withdrawal control, while the Yield Agent can rebalance through scoped Session Keys.
You authorize approved actions, such as rebalancing to another pool you allow, through scoped Session Keys. The Security Proxy Gateway checks approved contract addresses, functions and transaction parameters before execution. You can update your protocol and pool preferences in the dashboard.
You can also enable automatic inclusion of newly approved pools that fit your strategy. Your Yield Agent can then consider them without you adding each pool manually.
Compare the fee with the work you want delegated
Zyfai charges a 10% performance fee on earnings, collected weekly or on withdrawal. We list no separate deposit or withdrawal fee. Agent operations such as rebalancing and reward compounding are gas-sponsored.
Our fee pays for risk monitoring and active rebalancing between the pools you select, which can include a Spark savings position. The Yield Agent can move capital when another approved opportunity offers better risk-adjusted yield.
Our monthly reports show that active rebalancing has delivered higher yields than static allocations even after our performance fee.
Direct use can make more sense if you have already selected the exact vault you want and expect to hold it without ongoing switching. Zyfai becomes more useful when you want to choose your pools and let the Yield Agent monitor yields and risks and rebalance within that selection.
A practical workflow for a USDC holder
Using Spark directly, you compare the savings products, check who sets the rate, review backing assets and contract dependencies, and assess withdrawal liquidity. Native savings accounting handles accrual. You execute deposits, withdrawals and rebalances yourself, and keep reviewing rate and risk changes between transactions.
Through Zyfai, you choose a risk profile and the available Spark pools you trust for your asset and chain, then select any other approved opportunities you want your Yield Agent to use. Your Agent monitors the selected pools and can rebalance to a higher-yielding or safer approved opportunity when the new allocation passes your strategy's risk and execution checks. You can review allocation history and update pool preferences in your dashboard. If no suitable destination qualifies, funds can stay idle in your Yield Account under our idle-capital fallback.
FAQ
Does Zyfai increase Spark's yield?
Zyfai does not change the yield paid by Spark itself. Active rebalancing can increase your overall return by moving funds to higher-yielding pools within your chosen strategy. Our Yield Agent compares the pools you allow and rebalances when the expected improvement passes risk and execution checks.
Does Spark Savings already compound yield?
Savings vault shares accrue yield through an increasing redemption value. Zyfai adds ongoing risk monitoring and active rebalancing across the pools you choose.
Will my funds always stay in Spark?
You choose which available pools the Yield Agent can use. If you include other protocols, it can move funds out of Spark. If you select only Spark pools, it stays within that selection or leaves funds idle.
Which route should I choose?
Choose direct Spark Savings for a specific savings-vault holding you want to manage yourself. Consider Zyfai when you want the Agent to monitor yields and risks and rebalance within the pools you choose, while you retain control of your Yield Account.
